A practical earthing cable for the safe earthing of laptops, routers and other compatible devices. By connecting to the protective conductor, alternating electric fields can be reduced and equipotential bonding established.
The 2-metre-long, white PVC-insulated earthing cable features a Schuko plug (earth/PE only) and a USB-A plug with an additional USB-A-to-USB-C adapter. This makes the cable suitable for devices with both USB-A and USB-C ports.
The USB plug is simply inserted into a free USB port on the device, whilst the Schuko plug is inserted into an earthed, 30 mA fused socket (RCD/FI) in TN-S or TT networks. This connects the device earth to the equipotential bonding.
